Dining room sneak peak...
A few weeks ago we got furniture for our dinig room....you could call it a 1st birthday present for the house! Can you believe we have been in our house for a year this month, I can't! The dining table and chairs were delivered, but we are waiting on the buffet until the last week of March or early April. We painted the room green too! I love it! Once we get the other piece of furniture I can finish decorating... :)

Sarah's Surprise Bday Weekend!!!!!
This past weekend was my dearest friend Sarah's, birthday!!! Her mom and sister planned to take her on a surprise getaway for the weekend to her Aunt Jan's house in Austin. She didn't know where they were taking her or what they were doing. I was part of the suprise too! I showed up at Jennifer's house on Saturday morning before they left! She opened the door with a huge smile on her face and jump in her step!!! It was great!
We headed to the Austin area for a fun girl's weekend. Her cousin, Callie, came from TX Tech to celebrate with her too. We stopped at a cute cupcake stand called, Hey Cupcake! I gave up sweets for lent, but the looked and smelled delicious! We shopped, ate, shopped, ate, AND shopped and ate some more! :) We had dinner at Steiner steak house, which overlooked the lake and the sunset! It was yummy and then after dinner, we sat by the fire outside the resturant.
Sarah got some great gifts, including a very special scrapbook that her sister Jennifer made for her. It included notes, letters, and pictures from people who love and care about her! It was a great gift that brought tears to all of our eyes!
I am glad I got to spend the weekend celebrating with her and her family! I love you guys!
Here are some pics from the weekend. I forgot to turn some of them...ooops!

Texas Size XX-Big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am talking about a cinnamon roll!!!!!! :) My friend Miranda wanted a weekend to relax before baby Cora comes in March, so we went to Austin for the weekend. We stayed with her sister-in-law Dawn in Austin. We traveled to San Antonio to make a dream of Miranda's come true...have a taste of the biggest cinny (as she calls them) at Lulu's!!! It was HUGE!!!! It was way bigger than we expected AND only $5.99!!!! I had to bring one home so Chris could have the experience too! We outlet mall shopped, ate out, and enjoyed the day! Take a look at the size of this thing....

Claire's Baptism and Pawpaw's 85th Birthday
I went home the first weekend in January to celebrate 2 very important things, my cousin Claire's baptism and my Pawpaw's 85th Birthday! I was glad to be there for both!
Brian and Shelley were so proud as they watched their little angel be christened into the catholic church! Her godparents were Brad and Teri! They had a yummy lunch after at the church hall!

My amazing Pawpaw celebrated his birthday on the same day! He turned 85 but is still going strong! He is such an amazing Pawpaw and has worked so hard to make our family as tight-knit as we are! He is truly one in a million! There is no other person whose heart is as big as his! We had a pizza party and a yummy cookie cake that my mom made! One funny moment was when he got a snuggie! He wasn't quite sure about it! It was cute!

My 27th Birthday!!!!
I got to celebrate my 27th birthday several times with the people I love! I celebrated with Chris's family the weekend before, family and friends on my actual birthday, and then with my family the weekend after. I am lucky to almost share a birthday with my Dad. His birthday is the day before mine! So needless to say...I partied for a week! :)

Sweet Scarlett turned one on November 9, 2009! Here are a few pictures from her adorable Ladybug birthday party! My mom made her ladybug cake too! It was delicious, but Scarlett wasn't quite sure about it! Miranda made the labybug pinata! I was her project helper! It was a fun day for their family! We are glad we were a part of her special day!
