GETTING MARRIED!!!!

WOW! I haven't posted in a long time...so much has happened since November! We are engaged and getting married August 2nd! I can not wait to marry the man of my dreams and spend the rest of my life with Chris! He makes me feel so safe and loved! I love that he loves me for me!

We got engaged on December 13th! It was the most perfect day! This is a long story...but wonderful in my eyes! Chris gave me a hot air balloon ride as a gift for my birthday in November. I have always wanted to go on one. We had it scheduled for December 13th, but the weather was very cloudy so we were unable to go. It was actually a blessing in disguise because everyone kept telling he was going to propose to me on the balloon ride, so of course I was thinking of it! You know how a girl thinks...Haha! We had found out the night before that we weren't going to be able to go and we both already had the day off, so Chris suggested that we go ice skating at The Galleria around the huge Christmas tree. Chris said he has lived in Houston his whole life, but never went ice skating there. I had never ice skated at all, nor had I been to The Galleria during the holidays to see the tree. We went for lunch to The Cheesecake Factory and then went ice skating. We skated for awhile with me holding onto the edge mostly! Chris wanted to skate to the Christmas tree, but I told him I was good at the edge where I am safe and can hold on! He said he would hold my hand, so he did and we eventually made it to the tree. We took some pictures of each other and together, and when he was putting the camera back in his pocket he got down on one knee (on the ice and wearing skates...very impressive) and proposed! I said YES with tears! We didn't notice anyone else around us until people started cheering and clapping. It was wonderful! I seriously never even thought about getting proposed to the whole day, which is exactly how I wanted it. It was perfect! Here are some pictures of our magical day!!! Enjoy!!!
