Aloha!

Chris and I were honored at an engagement party this weekend hosted by my Nana and Pawpaw! It was a hawaiian themed luau at their house in Cameron! We had such an amazing time! We are so blessed to have such amazing family and friends that came from near and far to celebrate our upcoming marriage with us! We had yummy food (made by several amazing cooks in my family), good drinks, and great company! A "Nana" party wouldn't be complete without poems, toasts, and of course games! I wone the limbo contest! The girls put up a good battle, but lost the coconut over/under game to the boys! It makes us realize that the wedding will be before we know it...and we can't wait! Thursday is 100 days till the wedding!!!! AAAA!!! I can't believe it! We look forward to sharing many wonderful memories with our family and friends! Thank you so much to those who came and a BIG THANK YOU to those who helped with the party! Chris and I love you all and appreciate everything you do the support us! Enjoy the MANY pictures from the party!!!

Chris riding for a cause!!!

This past weekend Chris rode in the MS 150, which is a 2 day bicycling ride that goes from Houston to Austin to raise money for people with Multiple Sclerosis. MS stops the flow of information from the brain to the body, which causes people to stop moving! It is a great cause and I am so proud of him for doing it!!! The ride is actually about 180 miles!!! WOW! My bootie would be TIRED from being on a bide that long! He rode from Houston to La Grange the first day, then they spend the night at the fairgrounds. Day 2 they ride from LaGrange to Austin. I was leaving College Station around 9 to pick him up in Austin, when he called me and he was already in Bastrop...so I quicky jumped in the car and headed to Austin. I picked up Greg (Chris's brother) in Austin and we made it to the finish line to cheer Chris on with about 15 minutes to spare! It is so exciting being there to see him finish such an amazing adventure! It brings the biggest smile to my face and joy to my heart to be there! The atmosphere is so uplifting and motivating! I can't say enough how proud of him I am! He has been trying to get me to join him for the ride...we shall see...I guess I should start at least riding my bike, huh?

If you want to still donate the the MS Society you can...just keep reading below! It is an amazing cause! To read more about the cause just go to the MS 150 website at www.ms150.org/ms150.

Spring, Easter, and Aggie Rings...Oh My!

Spring is in the air, but the weather lately feels like summer. I really enjoyed spring break last month, but that feels like forever ago. I am now eagerly awaiting my summer break! I am excited about the wedding planning and then at last marrying my best friend! We enjoyed spending Easter in Cameron this year. I am glad I got so spend some time at home in the nice weather! It was a great weekend! I hope you enjoy some of the pics I took while home for the holiday!

This past weekend I got to witness my little sister get her Aggie Ring! I included some pics from her special day! I am so glad I was there to share the magical experience with her! I am so proud of the young lady she has become and look forward to seeing what still lies ahead of her! We enjoyed dinner with family and friends and then celebrated with her at Northgate! Now all 3 of us girls have shiny gold aggie rings on our hands! WHOOP!

The following day, I was overjoyed to be at Kathy and Damion's wedding! They got married at Washington on the Brazos...it was a beautiful wedding! I got a horrible sunburn that I am hoping will turn into a nice tan...haha! I am so happy for them and Tyson! I wish them the the best!
